HEALTHY PEOPLE

Smoking cigarettes and drinking alcohol is harmful and they are bad for our body and our brain.

Smoking is addictive because of the nicotine, that is a substance of the tobacco plant. It can cause cancer, a heart disease or a lung disease. Drugs like marijuana, cocaine or heroin affect physical and mental health. Depression, paranoia and psychosis are also some consequences of smoking. For this reason, some drugs are illegal.

Excessive alcohol consumption affects the liver, reduce fertility, can produce a heart attack and also cancer. It can also cause serious psychological effects and it is connected to social problems. Moreover, when you drink alcohol it is dangerous to drive a car or to use machines.

What does harmful mean?

Write some harmful effects of drugs and alcohol.

What can we do to be healthy?

Think about a slogan to prevent taking drugs and alcohol
